EDUCATION IS FRIENDSHIP AND FREEDOM

The Movement of street youngsters in Guatemala (Mojoca) is a self-managed association dirigée run by the street girls and boys themselves.

This video, shot in Guatemala, is addressed to youngsters, educators, parents and teachers, students and professors of education sciences and all who take care of the future of young generations.

The educative method of Mojoca liberating friendship is a method based on the fundamental values of the street youngsters groups: friendship and solidarity, respect of freedom and of the dreams of each youngster, basic democracy from which the youngsters take alltogether the decisions of their mouvement, rebellion against the violence of the power and fight to build a more fair and fraternal society.

The video by Roberto Giovannini on the Mouvement of street youngsters (MOJOCA), their organization, their values (the liberator friendship), the self-management, the respect of the dreams and of the freedom of each youngster. The taking part and construction of a  more just society and based on equality.

This reportage tells the struggle of a Belgian priest, coming from Louvain University, so that the inhabitants of these barracks can arrange new houses.
